Crete? Why not?
Hello travellers. If you ever decide to see Greece do not miss that outstanding island. It is different than continental Greece. Less destroyed by civilization. With more wild areas. And specific history. Outsdanding museum in Heraklion. Great marina and lake in Agios Nicolaos.
Here are some pictures from the places I have visited in Crete.
Small villages on the hills overlook wonderful sea. And in many places. When you are close to such water you may wish to jump into it. And you will not regret. The sea is so delightful!
Cold drinks, especially famous frape, save your life in such a hot time. Small bars and tavernas provide shade and comfort. You may rest and refresh with food and drink. Worth trying!
A touch of Greek tradition. Music and dance to enjoy with wine and feta cheese.
Reason to come over – sea and weather. And views. Holidays, holidays!
Everything is there. For spirit and for the body. And for everybody.
Every part of any village brings something. And you enjoy it very much. And you want to go and see more and more.
Narrow streets still create special atmosphere. Yes, in other countries they also have their own narrow streets… But those ones are unique.
Palace in Phaistos, disappointing but still worth seeing.
In the Museum of Archeology of Heraklion
