Kazimierz Dolny? There is a place where I can go… Have the Beatles known that it is Kazimierz in Poland? Probably not. They had their own place or places. But there is a place in Poland that you could return to many times. A small town of Kazimierz Dolny at the Vistula River.
Little bit greyish this season of the year. But put on your coat and bow tie and go!
Town square always attracts tourists. Here we have all sort of restaurants and cafes. Also souvenir shops and art galleries.
The town square in Kazimierz is usually ovecrowded, though autumn empties it and there is a lot of space at that time.
But in summer…
Remember to wear sunglasses! It is not only hot but also very sunny.
The church above the town is a meeting place and provides a lot of information about the town. And its inhabitants.
Top culinary or rather snack attraction are so-called “cocks”, a type of pastry in shape of the bird.
Horse carts may take you for a ride along the bumpy cobble stone streets.
Close to the town you can find a wonderful Castle in Janowiec go to: http://europe-in-private.com/2020/09/07/castle-in-janowiec/
